It's with a heavy heart that we share our design studio in the River Arts District was entirely destroyed in the historic flooding brought on by Hurricane Helene. Nothing was salvageable from our space.

We are grateful that our people are safe. We are grateful for all the messages of love and support we are receiving. We are grateful for the many wonderful years that we have been able to provide local flowers to our wedding couples and the Asheville community.

Like mother nature herself, we will plant new seeds and (hopefully) soon blossom again.

We are expert floral curators.

We arrange with the freshest of hand-grown, locally sourced flowers.

We use eco-sustainable packaging and mechanics in all our designs.

WHO WE ARE

Mara Breindel

The desire to celebrate beauty, creativity, nature and humanness led Mara to discover her talent and passion for floral design, and then to create Thoughtfully Curated. Her background includes a decade managing a corporate multi-million dollar retail business, a decade as an Actress, and a half-a-decade as a Pilates and Yoga instructor in Los Angeles, CA. Mara is European trained, studying at the Tallulah Rose Flower School, specializing in “British-garden-style-design”. Mara is grateful to now be fulfilling her purpose of bringing beauty and joy into the world. When she isn’t designing or spread-sheeting a wedding, you can find her enjoying time with her husband gardening and drinking tea with her cats Gracie and Little Bear.
